Today the master blaster completed his 44th test century and save India from the beginning. He is adorable for his game presence and commitment. Sachin Tendulkar ended the innings with 105 for his 44th test century as the Indians lost their final two wickets after resuming at the overnight score of 213-8. Tendulkar’s knock came off 166 balls, with 11 boundaries and two sixes. Sachin Tendulkar scored an unbeaten 105 but India was bowled out for 243 by Bangladesh on the second day of the first cricket in Bangladesh today. Every Indian should be proud of little master blaster.

Robinho was born in Bermar, a poor neighborhood in Sau Paulo, he started playing football at his early age., In 2003 at the age of 17 Robinho signed his first professional contract with Santos. Scoring 9 goals in that season he helped Santos to reach the final, but they went down to Boca Juniors.
This took the attention of many European clubs. Santos, however turned down every offer and kept their star player at home. But in that year Robinho’s mother was kidnaped by gunmen and was later released unharmed only after paying a handsome amount of money. This spoiled the mind-set of Robinho and he managed to score only three goals during that season. At the end of the year it was very difficult for Santos to hold on to their star player.
The Spanish giant Real Madrid managed to sign Robinho for approximately 24 million Euros. Robinho played his first La Liga game on August 28 2005 in a 3-1 victory over Cardiz CF. He ended the season scoring 14 goals in 37 appearances. However, he lost his favor to the new coach Fabio Capello which made him sit on the bench during most of the 2006/2007 season. He contributed 11 goals and 14 assists during the 2007/2008 season. Then the president of the club announced that the Brazilian was transferred from the club to Manchester city for 32.5 million Pounds.
Although many English clubs had a debate over Robinho, Robinho chose Manchester City as his new home. Till now he has scored 12 goals in the English premier league which includes a hat trick against Stroke City. He also captained the side against the hull city which ended in a 2-2 draw. Even though with his presence Manchester city has failed to conquer the odds which proved that football is not an individual’s game.

Championship leader Jenson Button on Sunday maintained his dominance of the 2009 season, heading a Brawn one-two in the Spanish grand prix.

The Briton, watched on by his parents, pulled his lead in the drivers’ championship over teammate Rubens Barrichello to 14 points, having now won four of the five grands prix so far this season.

Barrichello, from third on the grid, passed Button at the first corner of the race, but his three-stop strategy was never going to beat the more effective two-stopper.

“We switched from a three stopper to a two stopper. We thought three would be quicker but we changed to cover all the bases,” said Button.

Barrichello explained: “I heard that they changed Jenson’s strategy but I had to keep on pushing. I was actually quite surprised (to hear of the change) but from then on I just had to go flat out.

“I’m disappointed not to win because I thought I had it in the bag,” he added.

“I don’t know if something broke on my car, but it was a big struggle. In the end I am relieved to be second.”

The two Red Bulls, headed by Australian Mark Webber, followed the Mercedes-powered pair across the line, after Sebastian Vettel – passed by the KERS-equipped Felipe Massa at the start – then trailed the Ferrari for the entire race.

Massa would have lessened Ferrari’s woes with a fourth place, but the Brazilian had to slow and conserve fuel in the closing laps, ultimately also ceding fifth to Fernando Alonso and then abandoning his depleted F60 on the slowing down lap.

The other Ferrari driven by Kimi Raikkonen failed, while Jarno Trulli, the two Toro Rossos and Adrian Sutil retired in a big first lap crash.

BENDTNER WISHES

Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner have backed his team for it’s poor performance and have promised the fans the team will be back on it’s winning habit. Arsenal is haunted by injuries to no of players like Fabrigas, Wallcot and so on . To make the matters worse striker Emmanuel Adebayor was ruled out of action for almost three weeks because of his hamstring injury. So with the opening spot vacant the Danish striker had shown keen interest to play in the starting eleven. The Danish international has scored 8 goals from 23 caps. When asked about Andrey Arshavin, newly signed striker from Zenit St. Petersburg his comments were “I’ve never seen Arshavin. I did not watch Euro 2008. I’ve no idea what sort of player he is,” but, however the boss Arsene Wenger is not convinced to name Bendtner in the starting eleven. He said that Bendtner had no of opportunities this year but he failed to capitalize on it.

Barcelona was heading the Sunday’s clash against Real Betis with 22 consecutive wins. However, the winning streak almost halted when the opposition took a 2-0 lead within 24 min. When all hopes were lost Eto’o came to the rescue. He scored his 100 premier league goal for Barcelona at the 45th min. He netted a ball which came as a rebound from the keeper’s saved. The Cameroon striker then scored the 23 goal of this season at the 84th min. They managed to get a 2-2 draw which prevented them from ending their winning streak. Unfortunately, for the Real Betis fans Eto’o genius play brought Barcelona back into the game. Eto’o had a chance to even finish the game as 3-2, but he spilled a strait cross from Xavi which went wide of the post. With people Eto’o, Messi, Hendry, Ronaldinio, it may be difficult stopping these premier league giant’s winning streak..

Manchester united continued to fly high with their top form when they beat Fulham by 3 goals. United who currently tops the premier league table, are well ahead of their followers Liverpool by 5 points. With a must win situation and hopes of a victory Fulham started the match briskly but, however Manchester United’s strikers always found ways to break their defense. Manchester united took their noses ahead in the 12 min of the first half when Scholes scored from Carrick’s corner. On the 30 min mark, Ferguson’s men double their lead when Berbatov smartly connected a low pass from O’shea.
On the second half, Sir Alex Ferguson decided to substitute Rooney for Berbatov. Rooney was out of action for almost 3 weeks because of an injury. Immediately after his arrival Rooney connected a low cross from Park Ji Sung on the 63rd min to triple their lead.
